1. Start building high-performance digital equipment

Begin the thought process from the consumer experience to determine how to direct a consumer-oriented strategy. Make sure you have a discipline of user experience in place to understand how people consume what they are creating and optimize around those experiences.
4. Do everyone’s digital work
Digital transformation is a desired and shared vision of a result that is achieved through a series of projects or a combination of initiatives. “You need to have a sense of where you are going to go and how you will get there, as well as a vision of the fundamental change you want to make and how digital transformation can deliver it,” says Hewitt. There are two types of training models: on the job and dedicated training. Provide specific training for topics such as social media and best e-mail practices, but include people in projects to truly convert the digital part of everyone’s work. Have them work together to solve it as they go. Immersion is especially important for superior leadership.
5. Bake informed thinking in the culture
Because digital is so evaluable, it is vital to find people immersed in quantitative thinking. Always understand what to trace and create a culture of continuous measurement. Hewitt believes that the ability to measure everything is important, but it implies a risk. Be careful that people do not get obsessed with numbers for the sake of numbers. Define what is actionable and use data to conduct that action.
6. Get experimental
Organizations often think that there is a holy grail: a correct answer to make digital. You do not necessarily see the hours of hitting and hitting before the home run. Identify small initiatives for experimentation and quick feedback. Planning is important, but organizations need to work in shorter cycles with fast iterations.
